Matthew 10:34-36 ESV

When we believe in Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior of our lives, and if our faith is genuine, resulting in lives of holy living and obedience to our Lord and in the putting to death the deeds of the flesh, we are going to be opposed, even perhaps by our own family members and those of our own households.
