Have any of you ever given thought to this? We as human beings are created in the image of God, but we are born into this world with sin natures in the image of Adam, separate from God and unable within ourselves to be acceptable to and approved of God. And this is why Jesus had to give His life up for us on that cross to free us from our addiction to sin and to purify us and to make us holy in Christ Jesus, by biblical faith in Him, so that we will now, in the power of God, live holy lives according to God’s likeness.
