Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted." Who is this referring to? It is speaking of our fellow believers in Jesus Christ. If any one of our … Continue reading Lifting our Burdens

This writing is from March of 2018, first posted on Run With It blog, but the message fits well on Walking Wounded, as well.
I read Isaiah 25 for my quiet time with the Lord today. From this passage of scripture, the Lord has given me an illustration of how this is being lived out today in the church and in the world.
A nation of people, though certainly not every individual within that nation, is depicted here as being flagrant enemies of God, i.e. of Jesus Christ and of his followers. You Answered Me!
Psalm 138:1-3 NASB
I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing praises to You before the gods.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.
On the day I called, You answered me;
You made me bold with strength in my soul.
Yesterday I wrote about the spiritual warfare I was going through personally, and how I was battling with sadness and crying (weak emotions). Some of you said you would pray for me, and I truly felt your prayers, and I thank you. For, the Lord heard your prayers, and he answered.
