My well used book with all its frays,
From looks of it, seen better days.
The cover’s torn, but not forlorn,
Through truth of it, new life is born.
The verses marked, and dated, too,
For it’s been read now through and through.
It’s filled with hope and joy and peace,
For from our sins it gives release.
It teaches us to bow and pray,
To give our thanks to God each day.
It teaches us to live for Christ,
To follow Him, in truth, in life.
I love this book with all its frays,
It leads me now in Jesus’ ways.
It guides me in the way to go
So Jesus Christ I’d surely know.

My name is Sue J Love. I am married. My husband Rick and I have 4 children and 3 children-in-law and 14 grandchildren. I have been a full-time homemaker most of our married lives, and I have been in Christian ministry most of that time, as well. I started teaching the Bible when I was a teenager, and I have taught children, youth, and women most of my adult life. Since late in 2004 the Lord Jesus has had me writing out what he teaches me through his word and posting it on the Internet, which I have been doing full-time since 2006.
