Life Uncertain

Texting, vexing, and now sexting
Windows open, shadows lurking
People peek behind the curtains
Life now surely so uncertain

Evil is around the corner
In the shadows, under cover
Waiting, tempting, looks for targets
Self-indulgent always searching

Dreamers, sluggards, time a wasting
Fearing not a judgment hastening
Take God’s gift of grace for granted
For their gospel, it is slanted

Hear then what the Spirit’s saying
If you keep on sin you’re craving
And you are now misbehaving
Life you lose, you are not saving

Turn from your sins, follow Jesus
From our sins he died to free us
Live your life now in the Spirit
And no longer with the wicked

My name is Sue J Love. I am married. My husband Rick and I have 4 children and 3 children-in-law and 14 grandchildren. I have been a full-time homemaker most of our married lives, and I have been in Christian ministry most of that time, as well. I started teaching the Bible when I was a teenager, and I have taught children, youth, and women most of my adult life. Since late in 2004 the Lord Jesus has had me writing out what he teaches me through his word and posting it on the Internet, which I have been doing full-time since 2006.
