Those Who Deny Jesus Christ

“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, ‘Rulers and elders of the people, if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.’” (Acts 4:8-12 NASB1995)

The Jews (the Israelites, as a people) of that time were the ones responsible for the death of Jesus, the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of God and God incarnate, who was both man and God when he lived on the earth. They rejected him, cast him aside as unwanted, harassed him continuously, then plotted his crucifixion which they used the Romans to carry out for them. God then cast all unbelieving Jews out of biblical Israel, and he grafted into Israel the believing Gentiles (Romans 11). And he made one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

So, from that point forward all Jews by physical birth who rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Messiah were no longer part of biblical Israel, the Israel of God. Only those of faith in Jesus Christ (Jew and Gentile) were now the Israel of God, his chosen people, his holy nation. For it is not the physical offspring of Abraham, and it is not those who are descended from Israel who belong to Israel. It is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise God made to Abraham and to his seed Jesus Christ. So if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise, and you are biblical Israel.

[Matthew 21:43; John 8:18-19,38-47; Romans 9:6-8,25-28; Galatians 3:16,26-29; Galatians 4:22-31; Ephesians 2:15-18; Ephesians 3:6]

And then let’s take a look at Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9 and what they teach us. They speak of people who claim to be Jews (God’s people) but who are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Why? Because not only did they reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Messiah, but they were persecuting his people, those of faith in Jesus Christ (God’s true people). So, by persecuting Christians they showed who they really were. But by rejecting Jesus Christ they ceased to be God’s chosen people, his holy nation. That is why God cut them out of biblical Israel until they repented of their sins and they believed in Jesus as their Lord and they walked with him in obeying his commands.

“Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.” (1 John 2:22)

“Jesus said to them, ‘If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me.’” (John 8:42)

So, just because a political nation called, “Israel,” was formed in 1948, as a political entity, that does not make them “God’s chosen people” just because the majority of them are probably Jews by physical birth. For if they do not believe in Jesus Christ they do not believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jesus made that clear, as did his apostles. And they are not included in biblical Israel, the Israel of God. The Bible refers to all who do not surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, who do not die to sin and do not obey God as antichrist, and as unbelievers. And no unbeliever has any inheritance in the kingdom of God. So, please believe the Scriptures and not the liars.

The Ransom

Jesus paid the ransom,
so we’d be forgiven;
Purified from our sin,
so we’d be set free.
Crucified on a tree;
took on him our sin.
Buried our sin with Him;
rose in victory.
Jesus calls us to Him;
asks that we flee from sin;
Obey His commandments;
live eternally.

God our Father loves us,
which is why He gave us
His Son to die for us
on a cruel tree.
God created us to
walk in fellowship with Him,
daily trusting in His righteousness.
He has a plan for us
to abide in His grace;
Be transformed in our hearts;
live for him always.

Won’t you trust in Jesus?
Be your Lord and Master?
He wants to forgive you,
give you victory.
Over sin and yourself,
Jesus set you free.
Daily walking with Him,
live victoriously.
Invite Him in your heart.
He’ll give you a new start.
Your old life behind you,
a new creature be.
